It has become quite a trend that I receive e mails such as the one below, never the less I try to answer them by the will of Allah as best as I can.
Email:
answer this if u r educated
Okay, let's put this to rest right now about Jesus being God.
Isaiah 43:11
I, even I, am the LORD,
and apart from me there is no savior.
That was the Old Testament Verse, now by this verse do you agree that God is the only Savior?
(((2 Peter 1
1Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours:)))
Now who is the Savior in this verse?
Well, you lost..answer and say "Yes God is the savior" then you will call Jesus God. if you say "No God is not the Savior" then you are blatantly Lying to yourself.
Also, about John 20:27-29 in original Greek it literally translates Thomas saying
"the Lord of me and the God of me" to Jesus, so I have proven you wrong again...to bad for you.
Thank you for your e mail
The answer to your question and I hope you are educated, it is very simple. I hope you will not allow your emotions to do the thinking.
God is the only savior, that's the whole point that I as a Muslim stress. But the thing is Jesus is not God. Plus your rational and reasoning is incorrect and would only work if I would believe that the Bible you profess is the word of God which I don't of course due to its human nature, and it's human flaws which show that it's not from God rather from man. I do believe that God's word is still in there somewhere, but only God knows were in it, so I cannot follow it.
As for your proof from the Bible, You disprove yourself, because your first quotation claims that God is the only savior, your second claims that Jesus is the savior, but the link is missing. THERE IS NOT A SINGLE PROOF to show that Jesus is God, for him to be the savior. Show me one unambiguous statement of Jesus claiming divinty and God ship and I will show you many where he claims to be a man.
Jesus is the most misunderstood prophet and unfortunately many people will regret worshiping him instead of worshiping the one who sent him, alone.
I have a question is Jesus the son of God, or God according to Christian doctrine? If he is God than you might have a case (supposedly I believe in the bible) but if he is the son of God, you disproved yourself because in Isaia it says that Oly God is the savior, therefore not his son.
This is where the confusing and stubborn invented concept of the trinity comes in which has no basis for in any scripture let alone in the bible. No prophet, no scripture ever new any trinity - only the name implies polytheism.
As for my Lord and my God, not God of me and Lord of me as you say....I'm sure the translators of the bible know better than you and me
Other are reffered to as Gods and Lords in the Bible so the title does not belong to Jesus exclusively. If you are ready to accept that there are other Gods than you are again professing polytheism.
Ex:Psalms 82:6, you read, I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
Weather Mesiah, God, Lord, son of God, none of these are used in your Bible exclusively to Jesus, so if you are willing to accept other Gods on top of the trinity you are welcome, but I am not, I only worship the one TRUE God who created everything, including Jesus, and if He wants something He justs says BE AND IT IS, and He is high above needing children or saviors.
"Why do they not repent to him" Quran
"The Most Merciful does not need a son - for He is the most Merciful, we just need to go back to Him and repent, and not wait for someone else to take our sins. He loves us so much that HE is ready to accept us as long as we ask for forgiveness, it is that simple.
Will you ask for it? Will you pray for truth?

Allah is the ONE who addresses the Issue in Surah Al-E-Imran (verse 45-60)
“(And remember) when the angels said: O Mary! Lo! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a word from him, whose name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, illustrious in the world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near (unto Allah). (45) He will speak unto mankind in his cradle and in his manhood, and he is of the righteous. (46) She said: My Lord! How can I have a child when no mortal hath touched me? He said: So (it will be). Allah createth what He will. If He decreeth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is. (47) And He will teach him the Scripture and wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel, (48) And will make him a messenger unto the Children of Israel, (saying): Lo! I come unto you with a sign from your Lord. Lo! I fashion for you out of clay the likeness of a bird, and I breathe into it and it is a bird, by Allah's leave. I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I raise the dead, by Allah's leave. And I announce unto you what ye eat and what ye store up in your houses. Lo! herein verily is a portent for you, if ye are to be believers. (49) And (I come) confirming that which was before me of the Torah, and to make lawful some of that which was forbidden unto you. I come unto you with a sign from your Lord, so keep your duty to Allah and obey me. (50) Lo! Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path. (51) But when Jesus became conscious of their disbelief, he cried: Who will be my helpers in the cause of Allah? The disciples said: We will be Allah's helpers. We believe in Allah, and bear thou witness that we have surrendered (unto Him). (52) Our Lord! We believe in that which Thou hast revealed and we follow him whom Thou hast sent. Enrol us among those who witness (to the truth). (53) And they (the disbelievers) schemed, and Allah schemed (against them): and Allah is the best of schemers. (54) (And remember) when Allah said: O Jesus! Lo! I am gathering thee and causing thee to ascend unto Me, and am cleansing thee of those who disbelieve and am setting those who follow thee above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then unto Me ye will (all) return, and I shall judge between you as to that wherein ye used to differ. (55) As for those who disbelieve I shall chastise them with a heavy chastisement in the world and the Hereafter; and they will have no helpers. (56) And as for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full. Allah loveth not wrong-doers. (57) This (which) We recite unto thee is a revelation and a wise reminder. (58) Lo! the likeness of Jesus with Allah is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, then He said unto him: Be! and he is. (59) (This is) the truth from thy Lord (O Muhammad), so be not thou of those who waver. (60)”
Asalamu Alaykum Rahmatulahi Wabarakatahu !
I'd describe the response you gave as being very nice Mash'Allah, for the simple reason if we forget what faith we all come from just for a minute and read what you actually wrote, it's the truth ! Religion shouldn't be a reason for one to disprove one another. Rather it should be a reason for the truth to be discovered as well as followed !
I' writing this yes as a Muslimah, but firstly as a human being who has come to accepting Islam as the truth, by using my common sense ! (Alhamdulilah)... May Allah continue to give me as well as everyone hadiyah nevertheless... Ameen !
What you will find about this religion compared to all other religions is the fact Allah always challenges us in His Noble Quran ! If it was false why would He think to challenge us ? Why would He cause us to think with a rational mind as He does ?.. From reading the Quran for myself what I have found in comparison to any other religion or belief, we are urged to use our common sense ! What's even more amazing is the fact we are reminded of this all the way through....
Jesus (Isa PBUH) was not the son or even God himself (Astaghfur'Allah). Simply because had this been the case, Prophet Adam (Pbuh) would have been more entitled to it since he was born without a mother of even a father. Whereas, Jesus (Isa Pbuh) was only born without a father !
Jesus (Isa Pbuh) was certainly not God (Astaghfur'Allah otherwise when he died on the cross there would have been no life afterwards, and the world would have ended there and then.... The fact life has continued afterwards suggest it wasn't God who had died on the cross, otherwise where are these people coming from? and how comes the world continued as it did ? ....
So in regards to when those claim Jesus (Isa Pbuh) is God Himself Astaghfur'Allah (that's nothing but false hood)
The same way if they claim Jesus (Isa Pbuh) is the son of God (Astaghfur'Allah)... Allah (God)is not of any need of having a son (since He was never born and never dies). Human beings or animals are the ones that need children, since they die. Hence, Allah provides them with children for these types of beings to be able to continue living in the world, right up until an appointed time. So question yourselves why does God need a son ? When He will not die ? By claiming God (Allah) has a son, you are making Him to be something so Small.. As Muslims we think more highly of Our Creator than that !!! That he cannot be compared to something weak as a Human Being! .... (If we weren't weak why would we need sustenance ? food/ water/ sleep etc ?)... The ONE who has made us is Most Powerful since He doesn't need all of this, rather it is He who provides us with it ! (Alhamdulilah). Had there been other deities other than Allah (they would be fighting with one another, when should it be day or when should it be night ?). This is evident how the world leaders are like of today ! The fact every system runs smoothly as it does, is a clear sign that there is only a ONE true God !
" Say: He is Allah, the One ! Allah, the eternally besought of all ! He begetteth not nor was begotten. And there is none comparable un to Him." { Q: 112: 1-4 }"
"Allah! There is no god but He - the Living, The Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him Nor Sleep. His are all things In the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede In His presence except As he permitteth? He knoweth What (appeareth to His creatures As) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall they compass Aught of his knowledge Except as He willeth. His throne doth extend Over the heavens And on earth, and He feeleth No fatigue in guarding And preserving them, For He is the Most High. The Supreme (in glory)." ( Quran 2:255 )
Like the claim Jesus (Isa Pbuh)the God or perhaps the Son of God (Astaghfur'Allah) is false. How can there be any truth in the claim he was the savior ?
Like Brother Jibreel wrote only Allah (God) is the savior, He is the Most Merciful as well as the Most Just, he does not need to inflict pain on one Man for the sins of others... Where would be the justice in that ? Also, I'll like to end in saying why do you believe in a hell ? if the sins of man was forgiven because of the crucifixion of Jesus (Pbuh)... Surely, man is free to commit as many sins as they want now ? because they are forgiven !! Like I already stated where is the justice in that ?
Anyway brother really enjoyed reading this blog, along with the rest Mash'Allah.... Sorry if I go a bit OTT in my responses (I find what you blog about is very inspiring Mash'Allah)
Keep it up Insh'Allah !!
May Allah's Peace and Blessing be upon all The Messengers (PBUT) including Jesus (Isa PBUH).. AMEEN !
